Inspirational microsite for freelance and corporate videographers.
There’s nothing we love more than getting involved with something innovative and fresh. So when we were asked by Sony to design a microsite where they could share content, tips, videos and other eye-catching material with freelance and corporate videographers, we eagerly got stuck in. The microsite needed to be engaging and inspirational, and underpinned by a wow factor. As well as showcasing other videographers’ content, it would also become a hub for resources, product information and links to related content such as masterclasses and webinars.
To capture the imagination and intrigue of the user, we used a striking hero component on the landing page, and created a design that would enable Sony to update the content easily to provide a fresh and dynamic feel to the site. The overall creative allowed other content to be highlighted in a visual and appealing way, ensuring that visitors continued their user journey through the site and were engaged enough to sign up for events, masterclasses or to generate business leads.
The site was given a fresh, contemporary feel with an engaging appeal. Furthermore, it provided an inspiring access point for videographers to interact with Sony as a brand. It enabled the customers that were already loyal brand ambassadors and clients of Sony to continue to get involved and showcase their commitment to the brand, and new leads were generated because of the engaging nature of the site.
