Branding and marketing collateral for a trendy property development.
At Blue Serif we really love getting under the skin of new projects, and this one for trendy student and post grad accommodation in Sheffield was something a little bit different to anything we’d worked on previously. As well being asked to design the the branding, website and brochure, we were asked to create hoardings for the bespoke property development on Kelham Island, a vibrant part of the city which is undergoing major regeneration; something that needed to be reflected in our creative.
Because we were involved in creating the marketing collateral right from the development’s inception, it was important that we undertook extensive research, both into the area of Kelham Island, and also to keep it inline with similar property developments. We therefore went on site, and presented a range of research before going on to create the branding for the development. From here, we were able to design the website, brochure and hoardings, staying very much on brand and reflective of the type of development.
The final branding was created very much with a stylish but still slightly edgy feel to it, something which would hopefully appeal to the young professionals the development was hoping to attract. This idea was rolled out across the rest of the marketing collateral too, using the subtle bronze and warm metallic colours throughout. The website was created to be responsive, and its use of parallax gives it a sophisticated feel, which is perfect for such a contemporary development in a very up-and-coming area.
